Fèlsina

About Fèlsina

Fèlsina is a historic estate in the southeastern corner of Chianti Classico, Tuscany. Since its acquisition by the Poggiali family in 1966, Fèlsina has become renowned for its dedication to Sangiovese, producing wines that are both expressive and true to their terroir. The estate's vineyards span diverse soils, from the stony, calcareous terrains of Chianti Classico to the sandy, loamy soils of the Colli Senesi, allowing for a range of nuanced expressions. Aging takes place in a combination of Slavonian oak casks and French oak barriques, contributing to the wines' complexity and aging potential.

Why We Love Fèlsina

We love their uncompromising focus on Sangiovese and their ability to craft wines that are both classic and full of character. In every bottle, you can taste the estate’s deep respect for tradition, the complexity of their diverse terroirs, and the elegance that defines great Tuscan wine. Their lineup—from the accessible Berardenga to the iconic Rancia and Fontalloro—consistently overdelivers at every level.
