2021 Fèlsina Berardenga - Chianti Classico Riserva

Tasting Notes

Deep garnet with a silken sheen. Complex aromas of dark cherry, dried rose, and forest floor unfold alongside notes of spice and tobacco. The palate is firm and refined, with dense fruit, chalky tannins, and vivid acidity. A long, persistent finish lingers with earthy, mineral intensity.

About Fèlsina

Fèlsina is a historic estate in the southeastern corner of Chianti Classico, Tuscany. Since its acquisition by the Poggiali family in 1966, Fèlsina has become renowned for its dedication to Sangiovese, producing wines that are both expressive and true to their terroir. The estate's vineyards span diverse soils, from the stony, calcareous terrains of Chianti Classico to the sandy, loamy soils of the Colli Senesi, allowing for a range of nuanced expressions. Aging takes place in a combination of Slavonian oak casks and French oak barriques, contributing to the wines' complexity and aging potential.
