2021 Chiorri - Antonio Chiorri
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby with garnet edges. The nose reveals black cherry, violets, and dried fig, layered with balsamic and savory spice. The palate is concentrated and full, with ripe dark fruit, firm tannins, and a lingering finish that carries hints of tobacco, forest herbs, and graphite.
About Chiorri
Chiorri is a family-run winery in Umbria, located just outside Perugia. Founded in 1890 and now led by the fifth generation - Monica Chiorri and her husband Francesco, the estate blends deep tradition with a forward-looking approach to sustainability. Its hillside vineyards are home to both native and international varieties—including Grechetto, Sangiovese, and Cabernet Sauvignon—producing wines that are fresh, expressive, and rooted in the local terroir.
