2023 Chiorri Saliato - Colli Perugini DOC
Tasting Notes
Crimson with a clear rim. The bouquet opens with ripe plum, red currant, and a touch of cedar, alongside soft floral notes. On the palate, it is smooth and balanced, with juicy red fruit, a subtle earthiness, and integrated tannins. The finish is elegant, marked by freshness and gentle spice.
About Chiorri
Chiorri is a family-run winery in Umbria, located just outside Perugia. Founded in 1890 and now led by the fifth generation - Monica Chiorri and her husband Francesco, the estate blends deep tradition with a forward-looking approach to sustainability. Its hillside vineyards are home to both native and international varieties—including Grechetto, Sangiovese, and Cabernet Sauvignon—producing wines that are fresh, expressive, and rooted in the local terroir.
