2022 Thunevin-Calvet Constance
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby with violet glints. The nose offers ripe blackberry, wild herbs, and a touch of black pepper. On the palate, the wine is plush yet lifted, with juicy dark fruit, savory spice, and soft tannins providing structure. A lingering, earthy finish brings freshness and depth in equal measure.
About Thunevin-Calvet
Domaine Thunevin-Calvet is a vibrant partnership established in 2001 between Jean‑Luc Thunevin—renowned for creating the groundbreaking Bordeaux “garage wine”—and talented Roussillon native Jean‑Roger Calvet. Located in the foothills of the Pyrenees, the estate now spans about 160 acres. What began in modest conditions in a garage, evolved into a modern, sustainably built winery by 2008. Today, Thunevin-Calvet is known for producing wines with bold character and soulful depth, offering outstanding quality and expressive southern French terroir at remarkable value.
